The new campaign for Citizen Watches in Taiwan is now on air, featuring Taiwanese / Japanese actor Takeshi Kaneshiro (The Crossing, House of Flying Daggers, Chungking Express) and music composed / performed by me.

The Times unquiet film I scored, “Bringing The World to Britain”, has added two more awards to its Shots Award ‘Best Branded Content’ : a bronze cyber lion at the Cannes Lions and a British Arrows Silver.

Update on the film “The Man Who Walked on The Moon”(dir Jenny Lu) that I scored last year : it has won Best Fantasy Film at the Amsterdam Film Festival’s Van Gogh Awards.
The piano and bass duo album “JPMB – Solace” I recorded with Matt Baker at La Buisonne Studios is now out on Snibor Records. It’s available on cd from http://www.sniborrecords.com/catalogue.html (or from me directly) or as a digital release on itunes, google and other platforms.
The album features six of my compositions and one by Matt, plus film themes by Bernard Herrmann, Alex North and Ryuichi Sakamoto. And one tune from the Muppet Show.
I found out this morning that Park Hyoshin’s new single, which features one of my string arrangements, has gone straight in at number 1 in the Korean charts. It’s a tune called “Shine Your Light”, written and produced by Andy Platts.
